AECL's Disclosures Practices

AECL's web site is the primary source for information disclosure. In general, requisitioners will be directed to AECL's web site for information. Some information is available through printed materials such as brochures, pamphlets, and fact sheets.

Public Reading Rooms
For the public's convenience, AECL has set aside a Public Reading Room where the public can examine the documents or information requested. The public is also free to access periodicals, journals and books within AECL's collection. To schedule an appointment, please contact the library by telephone or e-mail.

Visitors using the reading rooms will be asked to comply with necessary security procedures. Under the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission's Nuclear Safety and Control Act and Nuclear Security Regulations, AECL is subject to strict regulations to ensure the security of our offices and laboratories.
