— The CNSC has completed Phase 2 of a Pre-Project Design Review of AECL's Advanced CANDU Reactor (ACR-1000) and concluded that there are no fundamental barriers to licensing the ACR-1000 in Canada.

— Data analysis continues on Phase II and III of the Non Destructive Examinations (NDE). Phase II included scans of the entire vessel circumference and Phase III included five vertical scans from the bottom to the top of the interior wall of the vessel. One additional vertical scan is planned.
