— AECL reports that progress continues on the NRU return-to-service activities. The return-to-service team has successfully loaded more than half the reactor fuel completing its first stage of fuel loading and has conducted the first of four assessments used to verify fuelling calculations.

— The CNSC has completed Phase 1 of a Pre-Project Design Review of AECL's Enhanced CANDU 6 reactor™ (EC6™). The conclusion is that, at an overall level, the design intent is compliant with the CNSC regulatory requirements and meets the expectations for new nuclear power plants in Canada.

— AECL announced today that the first-ever fuel bundle to directly use recovered uranium from light water reactors was successfully placed in the Qinshan CANDU Unit 1 Pressurized Heavy Water Reactor (PHWR) on Monday, March 22.
