Le ch\u00e2teau fait l\u2019objet d\u2019essais rigoureux simulant des conditions normales ou d\u2019accidents hypoth\u00e9tiques pendant le transport, notamment chute libre, perforation et \u00e9preuve thermique.<\/p>\n<p>Les ch\u00e2teaux sont homologu\u00e9s et le transport est autoris\u00e9 \u00e0 la fois par les autorit\u00e9s canadienne et \u00e9tasunienne de r\u00e9glementation nucl\u00e9aire. Cette activit\u00e9 est entreprise conform\u00e9ment aux exigences internationales de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e9tablies par <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iaea.org\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">l\u2019Agence internationale de l\u2019\u00e9nergie atomique<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnsc-ccsn.gc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">La Commission canadienne de s\u00fbret\u00e9 nucl\u00e9aire<\/a>, qui est l\u2019organisme ind\u00e9pendant de r\u00e9glementation nucl\u00e9aire du Canada, n\u2019autorise l\u2019envoi de mati\u00e8res nucl\u00e9aires que si elle a la certitude que la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des Canadiens sera prot\u00e9g\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Des plans rigoureux de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sont en place pour chaque envoi, afin d\u2019\u00e9viter tout risque que ces mati\u00e8res tombent entre les mains de personnes ou organisations non autoris\u00e9es. L\u2019information pr\u00e9cise sur l\u2019envoi est retenue pour des motifs de s\u00fbret\u00e9 et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Les itin\u00e9raires de transport et les mesures de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 mises en place sont approuv\u00e9s au pr\u00e9alable et convenues par les autorit\u00e9s du Canada et des \u00c9tats-Unis.
